More great news from the Coventry Inspiration Book Awards! The Bull of Mithros has beaten John le Carre’s Mission Song and Lesley Thomson’s The Detective’s Daughter to go head-to-head with William McIlvanney’s Laidlaw in the final vote-off.
Laidlaw‘s a great novel in the genre of Tartan Noir – gritty Scottish realism – and William McIlvanney has a lot of fans, so the competition’s still tough. But if you’ll keep up the fabulous support you’ve given so far and vote one more time, the Bull stands an excellent chance of walking away with the prize.
And there’s not long to wait for the result this time – the overall winner of the Mystery & Mayhem category is announced on Wednesday 19th Feb.
Author of the Mysteries of the Greek Detective, books with a touch of mythology set in almost-contemporary Greece, and featuring lots of fabulous Greek food.
