My other half and I are upping sticks and making the move to beautiful East Anglia. We’ve loved Derbyshire (where I have lived for many years) but we’re ready for a change, so we’ve acquired a cottage and a bit of land where we can keep a few chickens and grow some vegetables. I love the wide open spaces and the waterways of the eastern counties – if you’ve read my ghost story Swan’s Lament, you’ll know I find the marshes and villages in certain seasons quite sinister too…
That means a sad farewell to all our Derbyshire friends, but a big hello to everyone in our pastures new. It also means I’m available to do talks and events in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and maybe even Essex and Suffolk, so if you’d like to hear all about Hermes and the Mysteries of the Greek Detective and you’re in East Anglia, do get in touch.
Author of the Mysteries of the Greek Detective, books with a touch of mythology set in almost-contemporary Greece, and featuring lots of fabulous Greek food.
