Feb 19, 2015 Anne Zouroudi America, Hermes - the mysteries of the Greek Detective, The Bull of Mithros, The Feast of Artemis, The Whispers of Nemesis Comments Off on Greek Books in the US: The Final Trio of the Mysteries now available as eBooks
Sometimes in the world of publishing, things get out of sync, and such has been the case with my Greek books, the Seven Deadly Sins mysteries featuring Hermes Diaktoros, the Greek Detective.
In the UK, all seven books are available through Bloomsbury in a number of different formats – paperbacks for those of us who prefer a ‘proper’ book, ebooks for fans of Kindle, Nook and Kobo, and as audiobooks for those who like to someone else to do the reading.
But in the USA, until now only the first four books have been available, so fans of Hermes have had to resort to all kinds of means to get their hands on the last three titles – The Whispers of Nemesis, The Bull of Mithros and The Feast of Artemis.
Well, I’m pleased to be able to tell US readers and Hermes fans that life just got a little easier.
The last three Hermes books are now available for download as ebooks from Amazon.com, and in the next few days they’ll be out as paperbacks too. What’s even better is, they come with the most wonderful new covers! The jackets have been specially designed for these new US editions, and I have to say that – whilst I have loved all the covers my books have been graced with in the past – these three new ones are definitely my all-time favourites. The swan on The Whispers of Nemesis is, I think, especially beautiful. They all capture the qualities of the Greek myths and yet manage to reflect contemporary Greece – much, I hope, like the novels themselves.
So if you’re an American reader and you’ve only been able to join Hermes in four of his Greek odysseys, now you can help yourself to three more Greek mysteries!
I hope you’ll enjoy spending more time with Hermes.
Author of the Mysteries of the Greek Detective, books with a touch of mythology set in almost-contemporary Greece, and featuring lots of fabulous Greek food.
